Born in India, Priya has a formal training in textile design from National Institute of Design and a MFA in graphic design from Boston University. Her passion for color, texture and pattern in textiles carries into her graphics too, and she often uses hand created images as a key element in her graphics and surface design. She creates artwork in various different media, from acrylic on canvas to paper and fabric collage. She also keeps up with Calligraphy, which she first learnt when she was a young teen. She lives in Massachusetts.
