I was born in Kolkata, India. I have a formal training in textile design from National Institute of Design, India, and a MFA in graphic design from Boston University. My passion for colour, texture and pattern in textiles carries into my graphics too, and I often use hand created images as a key element in my graphics and surface design. Additionally, I create artwork in various different media, from acrylic on canvas to paper and fabric collage. I live in Wellesley, Massachusetts with my husband and two children.
